Secondary PGCE Administrator
The Faculty of Education at the University of Cambridge wishes to appoint a full-time Secondary PGCE Administrator.
About the Role
The post holder will provide administrative support to the Secondary PGCE courses which are professional qualifications through which students can gain Qualified Teacher Status upon completion. They will be required to develop and maintain day-to-day processes to ensure the smooth running of the courses.
You will be responsible for:
- A wide range of course administration.
- Handling a variety of course enquiries including providing pre and post course information.
- Organising events such as meetings, seminars and conferences.
- Assisting in monitoring of expenditure against budgets.
- Supporting examination processes.
- Providing administrative support for committees and meetings.
What you will need
Previous experience of administrative roles is essential. You should have excellent communication & interpersonal skills, and strong organisational skills. We are looking for someone who has the ability to work to a high level of accuracy and to tight deadlines. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is also required.
