Office Coordinator

The University of Cambridge is updating the way it delivers core systems and processes, and it has established a Change and Programme Management Office (CPMO) to help realise this vision. The team needs an additional Office Coordinator to help manage its day-to-day activities and help keep things on track.

About the Role

This is a pivotal opportunity to support a high-performing team of approximately 30 professionals driving strategic change across the University. As Office Coordinator, you'll be part of the critical operational backbone of a team committed to reimagining how core systems and processes can better serve staff, students, and the broader societal mission of Cambridge.

Key Responsibilities:

-Assisting with managing the day-to-day running of the CPMO, including the budget

-Ensuring compliance with University financial procedures and regulations

-Assisting with the managing the administration of HR-related activities

-Managing the use of office space, equipment and consumables

-Overseeing health and safety in the office

-Managing and organising meetings and acting as Professional Assistant to senior members of the department

-Managing administration projects

The ideal candidate will bring:

-Proven experience in administrative roles

-Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

-Exceptional organisational skills and proactive problem-solving abilities

-Outstanding communication skills, capable of interacting effectively across all organisational levels

-A collaborative spirit combined with strong independent working capabilities

-Enthusiasm for supporting transformative institutional change
